My Trauma

a green world

a paper world

a world run by man.

a troubled family

not of this world

dissipitating slowly.

an angry father

a worried mother

and a terrified daughter who can

no longer sleep.

the paper world

controls our minds

and has become

our God.

we live in solidarity with Him

and pray He blesses us

so we may live.
