my truth

I write to express myself. I write to feel better. I write to escape the troubles. I write to understand myself. I write to enjoy myself. I write because I love to read. I write because poetry gives me a voice. I write because I enjoy writing. I write because if I don't I get irritated. I write to feel fulfilled.

I like your use of repitition for the phrase "I write." It ties all of the statements together. I get the impression, though, that these just popped into your head randomly. I don't know how, but if you could give the poem a climax, a rising and falling action, it wouldn't just feel like a mostly-unconnected string of sentences.
