My Truths

There are truths

That I hold

Higher than others,

The truth that I

Have responsibilities,

People who need me

To be there for them.

The truth that I

Can only really

Speak my mind,

In its most honest

Raw form,

That my writing

Is the only true

Representation of me.

The truth that the

People who depend on me

Must never come to know

My truths

So they can confidently

Lean on me.

Never to comprehend

How easy it would be

For me to fall,

To shatter

Into a million pieces

On the floor,

Into dust

Whisked away in

The winter wind...

I have an older sister and a little brother. My sister is 5 years older and my brother is 15 years younger than me. A lot of my free time is spent taking care of my little brother but when I have time to myself I sing in choirs, love to read classics such as Hamlet and Frankenstein, and of course I write whenever I can.
