My Turn (5/16/12)

Is it my go yet? My chance at happiness? Ah, skipped again… I guess I’ll wait, continue to let, this heart break, And tediously wait, for my fate to take shape. I’m the little engine that couldn’t I’ve applied myself to things, most people wouldn’t But what do I get in return? Just a good job well earned? I don’t appreciate the pitied looks on peoples’ faces… Guess that’s why I never look in the mirror The weight of the world is on my shoulders… The height of victory, I fail to accomplish All I can do is envision my triumphs My neck is cramped from having my head down for long… When is it my turn…to purify the world…and mystify the discouragement? My turn, to release my demons… An exorcism of my conscience Hope continues to pinger It fuels my motives, And pumps my devotion When you’re hanging by a thread, All these thoughts run through your head Should you have taken another path? You were once happy, why couldn’t it last? Ive always been needing, a great support system, To secure the wounds from bleeding, and abort feelings of failure. My pain tends to inspire, But Im waiting for it to retire…
