TO MY UNBORN CHILD

I am scared

I am scared of the battles I'm fighting

The ones I have won, those I am yet to win and the ones I will fight someday

These battles are fierce and ravaging

I am scared not for myself but for you my child

I hope you won't have to fight these same battles in the name of heredity.
