My Used to Be

(poems go hereI’ve been with him through everything I used to even wear a ring To show that it was me and him, him and me now he wants me to set him free He expects me not to fall apart but how can I not, when I gave him my heart you have helped me find my wings now I need to let you have your flings. If that's what it takes to get you back then I too will make my emotions black I’ll always be here whenever you come No matter where you may be coming from I am sorry for everything I put you through Who I am now, I have no clue I cant say I am going to move on every other guy is playing a game and I don't want to be the pawn You are my hopes, my wishes, my dreams Why did I have to make us balance on beams you no longer care how I may feel but I can tell you, my feelings are real they always have, they always will be You have my heart along with the key Yesterday is history and tomorrow is a mystery But no matter what I love you Even with all we have been through

This is about my ex and I when he told me he "wanted a break". It was really hard for me, but I got through it... ****There is a typo at the beginning****
