My version of English B

Ms. Melancon said, "Do your version of theme for English B". Where do I start? Is it supposed to come from the heart? Nope, because it's too busy loving Maybe from my soul? Wait.. From my mind? Yes! the only tool this paper needs! Although it's blocked from all the things it knows or from all the things it tries to accomplish. Who is it? Who am I? Who are we? What are we doing here? Is what I'm doing learning? How can someone tell me how to learn? How to be taught? When will they see that I'm me? My own kind! She's not me and I'm not her He's not me and I'm definitely not him We are us You are them Where do we belong? In this school? In this grade level? Were not all on the same level yet we are united as one In this class! Look in the mirror What do you see? Test scores that represent me? or him or her or he or she In this public school are we free? or do all of us resemble you or me How can you tell us what we will be through math, reading, and writing When will you see that she or he ain't me? That my potential is more than a score and that I deserve this just as much as he or she Can you see that I'm just me It's all I ever will be This is my page for English B
