My Virtual Reality

The App Store is like my passport

I go wherever I want whenever I please

Most importantly not only that but I get to be whoever I want

Custom made characters picking the features for my virtual reality

That I couldn’t pick for myself in a reality that isn’t virtual

Clothes custom made living my best virtual life without having to change my “persona”

I even made online friends….cool right?

Until it sits with me once I snap back into my reality that isn’t virtual and think

“Why don’t I meet these kinds of people in real life?”

My virtual world is a world where I can be realistically myself

Irony I call it

Because in my reality that is not virtual I am antisocial

“Quiet?” They say

“Why don’t you speak much?” They say

“You must be shy.” They say

I say

Nah I just prefer not to speak to YOU

However in another dimension…(my virtual reality that is)

Not a question in sight

Not  judgement I can not control alt delete

Not a style that I can’t rock

Not a comment that I do not feel intimidated to reply to

In a sense in my virtual reality I feel free?

To express my I.D.Ks

My L.M.A.Os

My “ Aight bruh I.F.W.Ys”

But TBH my App store is not really a passport

It’s just…

I guess it’s just an easy ticket out like Spirit airlines

I guess

Because in my virtual reality I have the ability to not question myself

When you walk fix your slouch I say

There has to be someone judging you right now I say

This reality that is not virtual does not have a “open new tab” and refresh

And that is the problem

My app store is not A reality

And that is the problem

This reality is not a game of Subway Surfers you can not just run from your problems

And hide from your fears

I say....I guess

The 1v1 battle is not in the game room it is with myself
