My voice

I am the one who is silent Because I cannot speak But poetry is my voice In this world it is my choice I am small I am weak but my spirit can't be beat For I have the strength to speak the truth With these words that come out smooth People see and people hear But people are afraid to draw near To a man who puts himself in front of a crowd To the man who shouts "Your time is now!" I've been that man I've rocked that show While the devil draws me to the floor I may be weak but I can standp For poetry lends a helping hand.
