My Voice

Shh, listen can you hear?

That thing that articulates from there to here

That's my voice that bounces off the walls

That voice thats so hard makes you wanna fall

You can't hear? Then listen louder

I'm giving my voice all its power

"She is like a mouse, she so shy"

Mistaken me not with someone who has yet to find pride

My voice is a lion, it has a raging roar

Speaks loud enough for ears that are poor

It doesn't care who you are

It will cut you deep like glass from a crashing car

My voice can be sweet and kind

It is a baby at peace of mind

You never know which one you get

It can go 0 to 100, real quick

So be careful what you say

Because it steers you in different paths each day

My voice can make you fear me

So watch out when you hear me
