My voice goes up in the sky.
My voice goes up in the sky.
Should I open my lips,
to utter few words,
the people may be outraged,
they may draw their swords,
if I keep quiet, I feel suffocated,
if I open my lips, I shall be strangulated,
the space for which I strive to occupy,
A day will come when it will be vacated,
The buoyant sea, calls upon me,
I can’t help it, I feel abated,
The words that give suffocation a vent,
though it may make me to suffer a dent,
weather beware me of storm,
It asks to give up any idea for dips,
Big billows are ready to drown me,
I didn’t care and raised my voice,
Not only once, but twice and thrice,
I challenged the tyranny and its order,
That threatened me to crush to powder,
It encouraged me to gather my power,
So at last, I fought against that order,
I raised my voice against the tyranny,
I made a twist with my destiny,
If I win, I shall be a conqueror,
I may be honoured as an emperor,
What though if I may loose the battle,
I shall be known for what I did settle,
My voice shall go up above in the sky,
The people will adore me for what did I try.
