Is My Voice Important?

A silent street a quiet day

All is calm not a word to say

Then around the corner and across the street

Comes the sound of many marching feet

And what you say could this mob mean

Could it be harm or will they sing

You don’t know now

But soon you will for they are here

Not to cause fear

But because they want that we should hear

They have a will

And they have a way

Now just listen and they will say

Does my voice matter I cannot say

But if I join them on this day

Then power our voices shall convey

Here is the reason and here is the rhyme

Now let us speak while there is time.
