My Vows To Freedom

Dear Freedom,

I love you, however I just met you.

I am in love with you, but that scares me.

Why? Huh, I have fears, thats why.

Will you leave me and abandon me?

Or will you be taken from me?

Will my depression come in and kidnap you from life again?

Will my tobacco addiction come back and take away your financial ties to me?

Will you let my parents control me again?

Will you take my voice and power to say no?

Will let my kind heart give people the key to hurt me?

Will you take away my key to happiness?

No, because I won't let you.

Once you came into my life I knew you had to stay mine.

I knew that I had to hold on to you.

With you I have the courage to be myself around anyone,

not fearing a soul or anything in sight.

With you I am strong and powerful, and in control of my destiny.

With you I am every woman for myself and others.

With you I am an overall better woman.

You, Freedom, make me see myself for once.

Not other peoples views and opinions,

the weight of depression is lifted,

the urge to smoke is supressed,

and my will to true to myself floursihes.

You make me happy like nothing before.

You give me the strength to finally supress my fears.

You give me the courage to realize that only I can allow you to be taken from me

So I hereby today proclaim my will to love to you.

The way I feel about you is deepr than any other value in my life.

We are a partnership that has transcended my life.

You are the answer to all of my problems

The answer to my prayer for interal peace.

So once again, I hereby proclaim my undying love and devotion and commitment to you,

because by doing that I am loving, devoting and commited to myself.
