INTO MY WAY
Do I pray that I may meet
for me I found it weak;
prayer for me is a weapon that shunts the darkness,
yet I open the loop to kill once more.
O how am I supposed to see the seas with their vastness?
The river flows away I flux;
the well stagnant, and I’m happy to vibe.
O pray, pray once a man said to me:
“Fight. Let prayer be your shield to stir the evil,
direction approached, attack in its own way
that knows me, that calls me back into my way.”

Your Poem's Voice
Blends personal spiritual struggle with abstract philosophical questioning about prayer, faith, and darkness.
Dense layering of ideas: prayer as weapon, moral conflict, natural imagery, spiritual guidance compressed tightly.
Conflicted tone—darkness and weakness countered by determination and resilience; neither clearly positive nor negative.
Urgent, imperative voice with exclamatory interjections and combat metaphors; kinetic but not explosively so.
Approximately 11 lines; falls in 7-15 range.
Rich metaphors (prayer as weapon/shield), personification (river flows, direction approaches), vivid natural imagery.
Primarily lyric first-person introspection, but shifts toward dramatic quoted speech and apostrophe mid-poem.
