my weakness

I'm too much of a coward,

to cut,

to bleed.

so instead,

I hold ice in the palm of my hand,

squeeze it, like he squeezed my heart.

except the ice doesn't break,

like my heart did.

instead,

it burns my hand,

like i wish my heart did to his.
