My Weapon

This pen and paper is my freedom These words provide my life. There's no way to sever this For they fight my every strife. Take away my pen, fool I'll sign my name in blood. You can't stop this legacy My words are like a flood. These words upon the paper They can bite or they can heal Ultimately these words convey Every crazy thing I feel. I'm not afraid to die this. Stop me if you can. Paul said the stones will cry out. I dare you to ban this, man. Yes I speak for Jesus I'm not afraid to fight For this pen and paper Is my eternal light. The freedom of speech, my friend. I got the freedom of the press. So while we speak our minds, Our government makes their mess. Go find a big old tree. Nail me to the cross. I'll still write for Jesus It's your own damn loss. Like Doctor Martin Luther King This pen and paper is my life I may not be able to make a change But I can damn sure fight this strife.

I write for expression. I write to calm my nerves. I write so different people get what they deserve.
