To My Weary Soul

The velvet sky greets me.

In the fields, only stalks remain.

Moonlight dances on this open seas.

Childish clouds play their midnight games.

Sleeping birds bob with each swell,

Mumbling sweet quackings to lovers lost

Reminiscing of springs done well

And of a winter winds beckoning costs.

Night begins caressing the dawn of day.

The wind asks the mist to dance,

The mist replies: yes, it may.

Leaves flutter their eyelashes to have the chance.

I feel restful on this moon, all alone and yet

The hums of distant trains serenade me with the lullabies of silhouettes.
