My Web of Lies

I was bruised, beaten, and battered.

To the world I was what some would call perfection.

Faking my way through society,

All to become what I thought was flawless

Isolating the ones who knew the real me,

Desperately seeking the attention of the ones who were caught in the lie that has now become my life

Smart, funny, strong,

Yes that's me

However my redeeming quality is what the world calls a romance,

It's my ability to deceive when needed.
