My Widow

Does the spider truly appreciate

The vast woven death that is lurking in

lace. A promise of drainage forgotten

by most, including its masses of mates.

Though they call her a widow she lacks all

remorse. Forgets those like me with unlit

flame and lovers drought to which I submit.

So I'll wait for her nevercoming fall.

IZZYbelbel

I write poems and lyrics when my emotions grow too high for me to bottle up. As an introvert I struggle to share with people and find the page more useful. I'm a college student studying film. I love animals and playing rugby!
