"My Will"

John 14:26 New English Translation (NET Bible) 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and will cause you to remember everything I said to you. God’s Will Oh, Dear Lord Your Will is here but seldom understood. There are things You tolerate and some that You cause. Permitted in many ways You tolerate every chosen mood, and let us wallow in the mire as a promise with a clause. How do we know God’s desire for our lives today? Is it when we’re filled to the brim with the Holy Spirit? But what if we quench The Spirit or not perceive what He says? Is not all then misconstrued and only He has to bear it? Everything that goes wrong in life we seem to blame Him. Personal responsibility assigned seems to be a thing of the past God causes things to happen but surely seldom what we think as we’re investing time and effort in things that do not last? Permissiveness in God’s plan I certainly cannot handle. Why does not stop at once the stupid things I do? And when I sin willfully why does not He dismantle? He is Almighty that I know and I am so self fooled. Jan Wienen
