My Window View

Sit next to  my window

try to see through me, unlock the locks and open me up

figure out how to reveal what's on the outside of me and in me

wipe away the mist but that wont stop me from crying

listen closely although silence is what you will get

unless it's raining or storming i wont speak not even a bit

break me down though that wont do you no good

you'd just hurt me more, then keep me silent and possibly for good

as the glass shatters into thousands of pieces hear me cry all you did was ruin me

answer the question why

you sit next me my window and try to fix me but with thousands of pieces everywhere

you just simply replace me
