My Wish
Dad has spent the majority of MY life in jail.
When he hasn’t been in jail, he’s been drunk and on drugs.
I've seen Dad drunk so many times I've lost count.
I'd catch myself wishing for him to go back to jail because I couldn't take seeing Dad drunk again.
That’s not what a kid should be wishing for.
