To My Wonderful Woman
To My Wonderful Woman
An exceptional hard worker,
You are the big wall,
That nobody can overthrow,
Since I have consciousness,
I have never seen you cease,
Not because you want it.
You have done your best,
Because you wanted the best for us,
And you have done it,
You still do it.
You are that person,
That did not require a title
To be a doctor,
Psychologist,
Friend,
Mother,
And even a father.
You are the reflection
Of joy,
Responsibility,
Hard work,
And charity.
You are the image
Of give and share,
Without receiving anything
In return.
You have taught me so much,
Even though you do not realize it,
Probably because I have not shown it to you,
As it should be,
But just as you have given so much for me,
I want to do the same for you,
Even more.
I thank the sky and stars
For having you with me,
For being the mirror
In which, one day,
I want to be reflected,
The image that since I have consciousness,
Had inspired me to never give up,
No matter how strong the blow is.
If now I am standing here,
Giving my best to reach the stars,
It is because of you,
And for you.
Because every time I see you,
I tell myself,
Do it for her.
