My words
My words
Are for you
I give them to you.
Each poem I write
I break a piece of myself
And give it to you
For why else would I write?
Why else spin these tales of woe?
To relive and re break and re burn my soul.?
I look into the rain
Feeling it burn like fire
Feeling alive through chaos.
And I write it down
For you.
I tame the beast
Inside my head
That runs away with my thoughts
And leaves me painfully alive.
These gifts I give, cannot be bought
Or sold.
They can only be freely given.
To each of you.
I bare my scars
I walk through flames
I love with all my heart.
And I give these to you.
I suffocate on words
Dying in my lungs
I give my death to you.
I will give and give
Until there is nothing left.
That is who I am.
