My Words

My words are me immortalized, Each a piece of my sad mind, Through thick and thin these words ring true, Now listen to what I'm telling you, There will be times when things get rough and you feel like giving up, But you listen to what I'm here to say, Your words, my words, they all ring true, For those words, you see, are a piece of you, One piece may help to see you through, So you see when life has pushed me down, I get back up with my words in hand.
