My words are My elusion
There are days when I don't know what I'm doing.
As hard as I may try, there is no solution.
My words are my elusion.
I seek a strange sense of comfort from these companions.
Silent to everyone else, these are My microphone, My voice.
When there is no way for My voice to make a sound,
when everyone has pushed me to the ground,
My words come to me.
They are My therapy, My remedy.
When I have no strength to push back,
when the friends I had have all gone,
My words are there.
My words prevail.
My words are My power, My backbone.
My words are My courage and durability.
My words are the one thing that keeps me going in tough times.
My words are those of a broken heart, a secret keeper.
My words are those of a shattered love and a fantasizer.
My words are ceaseless and compelling.
My words are those of a fraudulent smile that covers the cloaked lament.
My words are those of a troubled soul.
My words are those of a candle still shining throughout a hurricane,
the last sign of hope.
My words are everything to My broken thoughts, they pull them together.
My words.
MY words are ME.
