My world
"The world calls me 'lad,' my father called me 'mad,'
And those I have loved, I have only left sad.
'What is your purpose? Why aren't you dead?'
Screamed the cruel shadows for whom my heart bled.
But little they knew of the truth in my scars,
Of a spirit forged cold in the furnace of wars.
I am a book penned by God in a language unknown,
Waiting for one who can read what is shown.
Someone to study the script of the yearned,
Who can hand-read a heart that has fully been burned."
