My World Of Poetry
Look at the world
Through the eyes of me
and you will see,
see the beauty of poetry .
Like many other things,
Beauty is not always seen.
But when it is,
It leaves a person forever changed.
Writing poems is a chance.
A chance to step outside the world
and look from a new angle.
To me, poetry is:
The smell of the sunshine
The taste of happiness
The color of laughter
Not always seen or felt,
sometimes misunderstood
but can be something great.
