my writing

To me poetry is

My place where events of life live

The lined sanctuary where letters roam..

abundant and uninterrupted

Its where the hurricacne of words collide

on paper and behind my eyes

Where thoughts of life, and love and  loss

are finally set free..

Its how the famous ones portrayed the past

The silly ones that make you laugh

are easy going and peaceful

Some are made to really show,

 how deep unspoken feelings flow

Its the boarder between what you show,

and what you feel, and what you know

that ultimate fantasy...

Poetry is a temporary escape

from a world that can be,

violent and filled with hate

yet a beauty on its own.

My poetry is set to a melody,

My symphony,

My rhyming scheme,

My rhythm built by me
