My X

God he was the fear in my dream

The hatred I didn't want to feel

Tears I didn't want to let go

Sadness that shouldn't be buried deep inside

I just wanted it simple

Wanted a loving touch

A bright smile every morning

Kisses when needed

Instead their was a jerk behind the gleam

A dark shadow underneath the truth

Used to be an untruthful smile

Just to make him happy...what was the point

What about me

He didn't look in the mirror

Didn't see his faults

Just took me for his reflection because I was always there for him
