My Year

It's been a rollercoaster ride, I seem to not be able to get off of.

From additions to the family to school stressing me.

Whenever I feel like I have everything under control, it comes crashing down.

It was easy being the only girl for years but since I'm not anymore,

its like no one really pays attention to the older child.

It's difficult to try and maintain the perfect grades and try not to get irritated,

Well, you try being a teenage girl in high school again,

Trying to make sure no one is talking about you or how you dress,

sometimes we strive to compare ourselves to others.

This has been My Year...
