Myself

I look in the mirror and what do I see

A small stranger, staring back at me

I look and I stare but the girl doesn't go

I search for me, the person I know

The person I know is someone worthwhile

But the face is mysterious, like the Mona Lisa's smile

I look to be normal and do my part

But if I were my true self, I'd break my family's heart

So I'm still the same, the girl doesn't go

I look for me, the person I know
