For Myself
I remembered a time when all the things took a tone of semblance.
These times were of ignorance and soon took a tone of imbalance.
It took no time for me to learn that ignorance be bliss and that in time you will learn,
As for myself there is truth in this.
I walked a shallow path of listening and obedience to a stonewall of cold temperament.
For myself to hit the cold bricks of untouched life yet none lived nor explored only known from the in doors.
This was my truth and stood as an anchor in my youth that forged the path towards my early adolescent years tears, distrust, pain, rain and dust.
It was evident that in this time for myself to shine I needed a stronger mind but what did the world unfold?
The plan to rip up the last bit of brains and splatter it across gravel as if I had nothing but time to travel and pick up the pieces that are now covered in feces.
I walk the world running into the parts of me that had been thrown out like trash to the trash can nothing making sense but still I reminisce of the times when ignorance be bliss and youth was in the mix, paving the path towards a future that I now know if I was who I was back then I would be screaming WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!?
For myself this is but a bitter reminder of a time when ignorance was bliss and the world didn’t have to make sense.
Now I walk in shadow of what’s right with what’s wrong following me around like fucking lap dog.
The dog constantly nipping at my heels trying to get me to turn around and pay attention to it but I stay obstinate with last bit of strength in every single minute, rolling around like it’s the cutest thing on the earth and it’s so innocent but I don’t give a damn and I keep on walking.
For myself I don’t look back I don’t say jack and stay in shadow of what’s right to be strong to move along with what’s wrong drooling behind me.
