Myself
Myself, i realize that i'm not a shield of armor,
I can't keep protecting him; if i throw myself in front of
a bullet now, i won't be there tomorrow to protect him from
the lightening that strikes him. Myself, if you realize now that you aren't
superhuman, you can protect yourself by thinking twice, you know like
how people say "think twice before you act." but you've already made your
actions, it's possible to avoid the next; but i doubt that you can bring yourself to the conclusion to quit. Myself, i keep my pained feelings locked up inside; it kills me to know that tomorrow you probably wont be alright; today, i'll stay in the dark. Protect you from afar, its better this way; cause if i do this then tomorrow i wont be so far away; heaven and hell is a very far place you see; so, for now i'll keep myself behind these trees. Myself, you are me and i am you; this is me, protecting myself.
