Myself

Hey, who’s that nice fella’ in the mirror?

You mind if I talk to you right now?

You look pretty down; is there something on your mind?

Oh come on, don’t say that about yourself

We all make mistakes, stop being so harsh

That’s a strong word

Please calm down,  not everything is your fault

Why are you blaming yourself so much?

If it makes you feel better, I don’t think you’re so bad

You’re pretty nice to be around

I like your chirpy, but sometimes sassy attitude

The small quirky things you do

You can’t go on hating yourself forever

I love myself
