Myself, The Enemy

What is change

but the movement

of body and soul

the inspiration

for new

for scary

for what is beyond the now

A desire to be

something different

something better

To be someone beautiful

amazing

the kind of person my dog thinks I am

Not the tortured of confused

the hated or abused

I want to be victorious

to win

against the nay-sayers

but most of all myself

I am my greatest opponent

my own worst nightmare

what I wouldn't give

to let it go

and embrace the movement

To fight myself

the enemy
