Myself Without The Mirror

Myself without the mirror

I am reserved,

Hidden behind a wall

To protect me from the world

And the cruelty associated with it.

Forced to go inside myself,

To not express who I really am.

And yet, without a filter…

I am beautiful

I am pure

I am strong

I am natural

I am shy

I am persistent

I am gentle

I am goofy

I am calm

I am fearless

I am me.

A girl who believes in herself,

Not affected by the world.
