The Mysterious Squid

Unknown, hidden away:

Always alone, day to day;

Unobserved by the eye:

Although, not shy;

Just a bit cautious of whom I meet;

Sometimes ferocious, sometimes sweet;

A splash of quirky with my communication skills;

Soaring through the water with my happiness filled gills;

Fast and bright, that’s my name;

Competing, succeeding, that’s my game;

Born to conquer, conquer the sea;

This is the animal, animal in me;
