A Mystery

I see things out the corner of my eye far too often for it to be just a simple mistake.
I had a dream last night, where I was telling you stories, and little by little, my similar past was being revealed to me.
All that I had forgotten.
And it was terrifying.
But when I woke up, all the specifics were lost.
I can’t help but think that was a clue.
I don’t even know what the mystery was.
But that can’t be a mistake either.
My life isn’t made up of mistakes.
If darker things than I’m aware of, did happen to me in childhood-
Well, it really would explain everything, wouldn’t it?
