Mystical Moon

The mystical moon,

Silent, still, and full,

Awesome in the sky,

Almost unaware,

Its power over

The water, over

Emotions below.

Creating torrid

Swells, energy flows

Through the ebb and tide,

Often reflecting

The sun’s brilliance,

Yet unable to

Embrace—far away.

It shimmers, it shines,

It glimmers, it glows,

Seems never to stay,

Always seems to go,

However leaving

Its everlasting

Effects on my soul.
