Poetry has taught me that sentences don’t need periods

Or ends

Sometimes they do not even have beginnings

They are thoughts

Feelings

Without judgement

Raw, unrehearsed

They are word vomit for a writer

A beautiful downpour

Allow your mind to fall apart

Spill onto the page

In the best ways

In the worst ways

There are no rules here

Just expression

And expressions

With meaning

Meaning

Things

Meaning

Nothing

No rules

Just be free

.
