NADIA

Nadia

Your love held me like a Glove

Late at night I cried and you’d come to my surprise

Where was dad I’d ask but I soon learned that you were all I had.

You told me I was a beautiful child

I know sometimes I run wild but you stayed

I’d wonder where is dad but I soon realized he went astray.

I was born with no instructions or handbook

You tried and tried each and everyday

Alone I saw you

I’d wonder where is dad but I know he left and I was sad.

Now I’m all grown up and ready for the world

And it scares me but

You taught me to soar the sky with my head held high

You are the center of my life

The only person I live for

I no longer wonder where dad is because he gave up

You always showed me that you loved me

And I am going to return the smiles and hugs along with the kisses

Because I love you.
