Naive


I opened my heart and gave you my soul I shared some things I never should have told I thought I was getting the sunshine and rainbows Maybe a little bit of rain here and there But I started to notice the seasons change and my feelings fade I thought that even in the winter the sun would still shine for us Because we had trust I didn't have to listen to the he said she said Because we spoke the same language We shared the same tongue And I always said if it came down to a bullet and a gun I would step in front of you Take the bullet, let my life be done But when it came down to that bullet and that gun You moved out of the way You were the one that won
