Naked & Hungry

Food, without it, humans would starve

Clothes, without them, us humans would be nude

But do others realize where it all starts

Allow me to explain although I may come off as rude

Every product's life starts on the farm

On some land out of the way

Where a man or woman works too hard

To provide the things consumers use everyday

Working behind the scene

Not scared to get scratched or to bleed

Making life simple for you and me

Working like slaves that can't be freed

Overworked and underpaid

The world's unsung hero

As their pay gets tooken away

The respect they recieve is slim to zero

So my fellow humans please remember

Food and clothes making is not funny

Without a farmer working from Jan. to December

The entire world would be naked and hungry.
