The Naked Truth

What meets the eye is not always true

They say what you see is what you get

But let that be known, that is not true.

The fairytales show you the perfect ending,

but they fail to show what comes along with living.

In the 20th century, there is no happily ever after,

hardships and battles you're bound to encounter.

If only the movies taught you how to survive the battle.

Maybe if we stopped searching for the unrealistic,

society today would be more optimistic.

Don't belittle, and appreciate the little.

There is beauty everywhere that is wittled.

Open your eyes to reality,

and there you will find yourself to be happy.
