Name

Wasn’t it painful dear when they called your name Failure, like they wanted fame Late at night, on your bedroom floor you weep silently behind your doors You lost your voice to their bitter words You just wanted to be good enough at most You’re just a young boy learning about yourself In a world so selfish, you can’t control But did you know, all of that doesn’t matter because I know your name, yes I know your name It tastes so sweet, it warms my tongue I know your name, I know your name You’re not just the boy who’s always in pain I know your name, I know your name Author of the story you never told I know your name, I know your name One day, they’ll know the same
