The world is my friend

I don’t have to know your name to respect you

Or even love you

I AM your keeper

Simply because you’re human

And so am I

And the human in me knows that everyone deserves to be treated kindly

And with respect

I will smile at you, hug you, listen to you, give you words of encouragement

To YOU, yes YOU, you stranger

Because there’s no reason why I shouldn’t

And countless reasons why I should

The human in me sees the human in you

And no matter what walk of life you come from

Or your creed, burdens, history, or vices

You deserve to be acknowledged

On the street, in the office, on the bus, in the grocery store

Loving strangers is what I do, and it’s also what makes me #FLAWLESS
