Nancy
They say a picture is worth a thousand words,
But what if there are no words?
No words for the season.
No words for the emotion.
No words to express the delicate balance of childhood.
They say that pictures never lie,
But what does this picture say?
Does it say “I am happy”?
Does it say “Come play with us”?
Does it say “I am lonely”?
They say a picture lasts forever,
But is this forever?
One day I will grow old.
One day my dolls will be forgotten.
One day I will leave and never come back.
