Natasha's Lullaby

Sleep, sleep.

Beautiful child.

Heart so pure,

And manner so mild.

Sleep, sleep.

Beautiful child,

Know that I love you.

The sun is on its way

It was never meant to stay

Soon night will come most blue.

Know that I love you

Sleep, sleep.

Beautiful child.

Hands so cold,

And breath so wild
.
Sleep, sleep.

Beautiful child,

Know that I love you.

Night has finally come.

The crickets have quieted to a hum.

So I'll say my bye most true.

Know that I love you.

Sleep, sleep.

Beautiful child.

The battle is over,

The number's been dialed.

Sleep, sleep.

Beautiful child.

Know that I love you.

I write because it's what I know. I'm not a very expressive person on the outside, but with nothing more than words I can say what I need to say.
