Natural Talent

A poet has her words A singer has her voice An author creates entire new worlds A model exudes confidence and poise It seems that I've been skipped from receiving any natural gift Why is that I cant do or create shit?! I know someone who can pick up a skill like it's nothing Yet here I am racking my brain thinking: 'I must be good at something!' Yeah my art is subpar and my writing wont win any awards Music and photography are among the extravagant skills I cant afford "Practice makes perfect" they always say No, I want to be good at it today! Who has time to spend hours day upon day honing their craft? It takes 10,000 hours to develop a talent? Yeah fuck that! Maybe I can make up my own talent that'll make me great Spend zero effort yet become the girl who chooses her own fate Since I'm amazing at nothing, I can be mediocre in everything! I'll be the girl who tries it all, I'll never back down from anything I've done it! I have discovered my God given gift It's the power of loving myself and not giving a shit.
